Tom Palzewicz is a small business owner and candidate for Congress in Wisconsin's 5th congressional district.[1][2] Palzewicz is a member of the Democratic Party (United States) and is running against the incumbent Jim Sensenbrenner a Republican who has represented the District since 1978.[3][4] Palzewicz is currently a Business Coach, providing consultation and coaching to small business owners.[2][3] [5]
Personal Life[edit]
Palzewicz previously served in the U.S. Navy for six years and served four years on the USS Scamp (SSN-588), a nuclear submarine as an Electrician's mate.[6] After the Navy, Palzewicz attended the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting.[2]
After graduating, Palzewicz went on to work for various banks and financial institutions with a focus on risk management. In 2004, Palzewicz joined his brother as Co-founder and Managing Partner of ActionCOACH of Elm Grove, a business coaching company based in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. [7][5]
In April of 2014, Palzewicz published "Consistent Cash Flow" a book he wrote as a guide for small business owners.[7]
Tom and his wife Terri live in Brookfield, Wisconsin have three adult children who attended public schools.[5]
Congressional Campaign[edit]
In September of 2017, Palzewicz announced his campaign for the United States House of Representatives to represent Wisconsin's 5th congressional district. Palzewicz is running as a Democrat attempting to unseat Republican incumbent Jim Sensenbrenner who has represented the district since 1978. [2][1][4]
Palzewicz has been endorsed by multiple elected officials including John T. Chisholm, Bryan Kennedy (Mayor of Glendale, Wisconsin), Daniel Riemer, and Christine Sinicki.[8][9][10]
