Tonye Rex Idaminabo (born 1984/85) is a Nigerian entrepreneur who is the founder of the African Achievers Awards[2][3] and Reputation Poll[4].
Early life
Rex was born in Nigeria and holds a degree from Glasgow Caledonian University in Glasgow, Scotland.[citation needed] He was appointed President of the Nigerian Student Society of Glasgow Caledonian University.[citation needed]
Career
In 2011, he founded the African Achievers Awards.[5] He also co-founded the Young CEOs Business Forum[6]. In 2016, he founded Reputation Poll, which creates reputation polls and rankings.[7]
Recognition
In 2015, Forbes Africa magazine included him on a list of 30 Most Promising Entrepreneurs in Africa 2015.[8] Other recognitions he has received include Peace Achievers Awards, 100 Most Influential Young Africans 2016 and 2017[9][10][11][12] [13], British Award for African Development,[14] and 100 Most Influential Young Nigerians.[citation needed]
