This style was popularized globally by artists and producers such as Drake, The Weeknd, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Noah "40" Shebib, Boi-1da, Illangelo, etc.

Toronto sound has influenced music scenes worldwide, also leading to the Toronto sound Movement in Asia which is the popularization of this musical style in the Asian music scene. The movement was popularized by S Navaneeth Krishna, who is recognized as the first Asia-based artist to popularize Toronto sound in the region.[3]
