Trekking in Kalinchowk
The trek to Kalinchowk[1] is noted for its accessibility from Kathmandu, panoramic views of the Langtang and Gaurishankar ranges, and the cultural experience of Kuri Village, making it a popular short-duration trekking destination.
The trek to Kalinchowk usually starts at Charikot, which's the main town of Dolakha. You will walk through thick forests that have lots of rhododendron, oak and pine trees.

This path is inside the Gaurishankar Conservation Area. Most people who trek to Kalinchowk stop at Kuri Village before they go up to the top. Kuri Village is a village that is very high up.
