World Travel Holdings is an American cruise agency, and leisure travel company, known for being the largest cruise agency in the nation.[1][2]

History[edit]

World Travel Holdings was established on January 1, 2005 with a series of acquisitions including the purchase of Villas of Distinction and Cruise411.[3] The company is chaired by Brad and Jeff Tolkin who are also the current Co-CEO.[4][5]

In 2006, World Travel Holdings acquired National Leisure Group (NLG), the largest cruise seller in America and one of the nation's vacation package distributors.[6] In 2010, the company acquired a significant interest in the UK's cruise retail business, Cruise118.[7] It also acquired CheapCruises.com in 2011.[8]

In 2012, World Travel Holdings began the sales and servicing of resort vacations in-house.[9] It launched the travel franchise Dream Vacations in 2016.[10]

World Travel Holdings has a global presence operating multiple cruise and vacation brands in the United Kingdom, and also has offices in notable locations in the United States.[11]
