Tripurari Kumar Sharma (Hindi: त्रिपुरारि, Bengali: ত্রিপুরারি, Urdu: تری پراری‎; born 4 March 1986), known mononymously as Tripurari is an Indian poet, lyricist, author and scriptwriter.[1][2][3][4][5][6] In 2019, his poetry has been included in Maharashtra State Board 11th class textbook.[7][8] In 2020, his poetry has been included in Bharti Bhawan's 8th class textbook.[9][10]

Early life and education[edit]

Tripurari was born in a Hindu family to Ram Narayan Sharma and Urmila Devi, in Arout, Samastipur, Bihar, India. He studied literature at University of Delhi and holds a master's degree in Mass Communication.

Lyricist[edit]

Tripurari wrote the title song of Sanyukt (a Zee TV series) in 2016.[11][12] Also, he has written singles and albums for music labels like T-Series, Zee Music Company,[13][14][15] Saregama,[16][17][18][19] Indie Music Lebel[20] and others.[21][22]

Scriptwriter[edit]

Tripurari has written scripts for a few films, television shows and different brands.[23][24]

Author[edit]

Tripurari primarily writes in Urdu, Hindi and Maithili language; besides several other languages such as Braj Bhasha, Khariboli and Punjabi.[25][26][27][28] His published books are Osak Bunn, and North Campus.[29][30]
