[Cameron Dickson McMahon] (2020–Present) Professionally known as Trycotte is an EDM Producer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who has a vast and diverse range of music production methods. During his first three years professionally producing music, he has become well known in underground Discord communities such as KIO$$E, Echelon's (Disbanded May 2023) and Trapcav.
Pre-Professional Days/Early Life
[Cameron Dickson McMahon] was born in Columbus Ohio on August 9th, 2005, the son of a hard-working father in IT Security and a mother who took care of him and his low-functioning severe autistic little brother Trevor. They moved to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in late 2009 after his father got a new job. In 2013, he took an interest in music at the young age of 8 years old during a computer class when he got to experience the wonders of GarageBand. He spent time in both his elementary school computer classes and at home devices while moving to multiple different schools; he would eventually begin to make full-length tracks by 6th grade in 2016. McMahon released music under his first YouTube channel Vito Sclatta The Master Gamer (Taken down in 2018). In 2018, McMahon stopped producing music to help his family with their move to Clearwater Florida in the Tampa Bay Area.
NC76 (2020-2022)
On March 16th, 2020 NC76 was formed in the Tampa Bay, FL area in 2020 by two high school students, ScootNic (Aged 15) and Trycotte (Aged 14). Originally beginning as a metal duo producing instrumental beats, NC76 evolved to incorporate elements of EDM into their sound as well, dropping their first album *World Death Trip* on August 22nd, 2021. The duo took a break due to McMahon's move to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania until February 2022 when they dropped their second album *Long Run*. After recruiting a third member, jerg_the_chemist, they made their next album of 15 tracks in June 2022: Darkside.
In July of 2022, NC76 dropped five different albums at an insane rate. By this time, the band had over 110 tracks to their name, and by August, their 2022 album *Nemesis Theory* (22 Tracks) was their largest album ever created.
The group became a quartet that included member Gavin Fultz. On September 2022, NC76 signed to Misra Records and released their debut single “New beginnings” on October 7th, 2022.
Solo Music Career
On December 16th, 2022, McMahon left NC76 and went solo, releasing his own Debut Album "The VX Heavans" with MISRA Records under his name Trycotte. Fans were surprised to hear about McMahon's sudden departure from the band to pursue his own music career. McMahon stated during a conference call in February 2023, "I always wanted to go solo. NC76 was a good starting point, but a solo music career is the way for me".
McMahon dropped his second single Fire wall on February 3rd, 2023, with the help of a few of his friends. A few days after the initial drop date, McMahon began mixing his own tracks for samples of future tracks. This method assisted him on his next single with Misra Records Z3r0 Gravity on March 31st, 2023, with the help of a dubstep artist called JustGhosty on YouTube.
On May 26th, 2023, the single AI_Anthem was released. This track was much different from others, being a full-length track that had regular vocals from the artist instead of chops with a very tripped-out beat and synth behind it.
After one month, another full-length vocal song, but this time using chops, his single "Now And Till Forever" was dropped to all platforms on July 14th, 2023, with a really relaxing synth and bass to the drums of the track.
After the drop of "Now And Till Forever," McMahon took a break from making music on his own page to work with artist BULL53Y3 with his Debut EP *System error* on August 28th, 2023, and the single "Taktiks" was dropped on August 29th, 2023.
During the start of 2024, on January 5th, McMahon dropped "Nemesis Theory" under his own name for his first single of the year 2024. To the surprise of many, he would again appear on another BULL53Y3 single "On the Track" on the same day.
