UFO sighting in Brighton, Victoria (1970/71)

Background[edit]
Lorraine was in 7th grade during a French test at the time she spotted the UFO. As she looked out the window, she spotted a mushroom shaped flying saucer hovering over the junior school next door, which then took off, disappearing. She couldn't say anything about her sighting during class, since a test was being held, but she instead drew what she spotted, though the drawing is now unavailable. She reported her sighting to the local newspaper, 2 days later the report being published.

Lorraine was interviewed by Riley Williams and Kaylee Gibson, on September 11, 2022, about her sightings. Lorraine stated in the interview that wasn't the last and only time she's spotted a UFO. Her sighting in 1970/71 was one of her 4 sightings of UFO's: One being spotted in the Great Otway, again in Victoria, during stargazing. By the end of the interview Lorraine drew the UFO from her first sighting.
