Ultimate Dr Sir Chidoo Warrior (born March 15, 1982) is a Nigerian highlife musician, actor, music and film producer, and spiritual leader. He is best known as the founder and leader of the Chidoo Brothers International Band of Imo State and is a prominent cultural figure in Eastern Nigeria.[1]
Biography
Ultimate Dr Sir Chidoo Warrior, born Chidoo Undertaker Warrior, hails from Umuchem Okporo, Orlu in Imo State, Nigeria. He was born on March 15, 1982, and began his musical journey at a young age. His first album, Uwa Agbala Uka, was released when he was just 15 years old, featuring tracks such as "Uwa Agbala Uka"[2], "Uwa Eshierike"[3], "Ala di nma"[4], and "Osisi Orji".[2]
After the release of his debut album, he traveled outside Nigeria and lived abroad for 23 years before returning. Fluent in English, French, Arabic, and Igbo, Chidoo Warrior is a man of many talents and strong convictions. He is a self-described spiritual leader, motivational speaker, and advocate for the marginalized.[1]
Career
Chidoo Warrior is the founder and leader of the Chidoo Brothers International Band of Imo State. He is a registered member of the Professional Musicians' Association of Nigeria (PMAN) and the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), both Imo State chapters.
His music blends traditional Igbo highlife with storytelling and spiritual themes. He has released several albums, including Tribute to Ultimate Dr. Sir Warrior and Tribute to Kabaka Oriental, each featuring five tracks.[5] In addition to music, he writes and produces films and is known for his storytelling abilities and philosophical quotes, including: "No Man Is My Friend, No Man Is My Enemy, Every Man Is My Teacher."
He is also recognized as the High Priest of NDI OTU OGBANJE, embracing and preserving ancestral traditions. Known for his humility, integrity, and advocacy, Chidoo Warrior is regarded as a cultural icon in his region.[1]
