Adonis Reynier Argudin Lingueno better known by his stage name Un Linguee was born in (Arroyo Naranjo, Párraga, Havana, Cuba on November 1, 1986) is a rapper, singer, composer and record producer of Cuban origin. He is mainly recognized for fusing styles from his country with other genres and rhythms from different latitudes of the world.

Early life

Adonis was born in on on November 1, 1986 in a small and humble family, being the only child. As a child he had an inclination for music, which his mother enrolled him in piano and percussion lessons. In his adolescence he was already participating in curricular and extracurricular activities supporting culture in his hometown.

Career

The Beginning

In 2004 he joined the comparsas to participate in Carnivals, where he demonstrated his love and passion for dance and music. Since childhood he had that affinity for writing, creating a number of writings. Which led him to the desire to explore his musical coefficient as a rapper in 2006, integrating a small neighbourhood project that was called "La Nueva Union". Where he managed to nuance and give light to his lyrics. While he was part of the cast of “La Nueva Union”, he had urban performances where he obtained great acceptance from the public.

Trajectory

In October 2011 he said goodbye to his homeland to create a new life in Australia. Upon arriving in this new country a little disoriented with the artistic movement, he decided to undertake a new image with one of his passions, Dancing. Bringing a contagious energy that leads everyone to dance and laugh.

It was not until 2014 that he traveled to Cuba, and once being in the land that saw him born he revived that passion that was dormant in him. Recording a single called “Desnudate” with several exponents among them Leynar Escalona artistically known as “Lifak”. Who told him: -No matter what you do, make sure you do it well. That experience led him to not give up on that love for Music.

Despite being an independent artist, he lives with the conviction that there is an audience out there that will enjoy the joy and message that his lyrics carry as much as he does. In 2016, he released an album called Hecho en Cuba, which began to obtain results through social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, SoundCloud and digital platforms. Already established in Australia and having obtained a good reputation for his unique way of dancing, his musical stage name “Un Linguee” began to have resonance and they began to invite him to events with renowned artists, such as: La Factoria and Andy Rivera. Un Linguee says: I enjoy and like music, there is no doubt about that, my greatest dream is to be recognized, to be able to know that my music is listened to, danced to, I am gradually achieving that. When someone says “Un Linguee” it reflects love, harmony but above all passion for music. I would like to be an example among urban artists.
