Dative Uwimana (Born March 10, 1998 in Kirundo, Burundi) is a Burundian beauty queen, model, humanitarian activist and an entrepreneur who was crowned as Miss Popularity Burundi in 2021.[1][2][3][4] and competed at Miss Burundi in the Republic of Burundi.
Early life[edit]
Dative Uwiman holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Management from the Light University of Bujumbura.She attended her primary school at Ntahangwa in 2009, after her primary school, she joined CEPBU High School for her Ordinary level education until 2013. I remember waking up early morning for prep, i often forgot to even take breakfast while i feared to be late for my morning classes, Dative said. She then joined Scheppers High School, Sciences sections in Nyakabiga for her advanced level education in 2017 and she was enrolled at the Light University of Bujumbura in 2018.
She is the Chief Executive Officer of Ikaze Ventures a company aiming at ensuring Excellency in Tourism and Marketing.
“Dative Uwimana is already launching her ecotourism project, two days after the final that consecrated her as Miss Popularity 2021. No sooner have we finished commenting, talking about all the contours of the event on social networks than the Miss Popularity Dative Uwimana surprises us with her first tourist appointment. Indeed, the one who accumulated the most votes during this campaign of Miss Burundi 2021 had defended before the jury a project for the promotion of ecotourism”[5]

Miss Burundi 2021[edit]
The First Lady and at the same time President of the Organization of African First Ladies for Development in Burundi (OPDAD Burundi) Angeline Ndayishimiye received in audience on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, the Miss Burundi 2021 Livia Thiana Iteka in the company of her two runners-up and the Miss popularity Uwimana Dative[6].
In their exchanges, the First Lady gave them advice on respect for Burundian culture. At the end of the audience, the First Lady Angeline Ndayishimiye told the press that the objective was to express her support for their very interesting and relevant projects which are in line with the ambitions of OPDAD Burundi and its foundation Bonne Action "Mugiraneza".
Miss University Africa[edit]
Dative Uwimana a contestant at Miss University Africa in 2020 and now its ambassador in Burundi[7][8] [9], Established in 2010 as the first and only international contest in Africa without Bikini which gathers all 54 African countries.Miss University Africa aims to celebrate beauty and intellect, discourage indecent clothing among students and young Africans, celebrate African culture and tourism, celebrate African women and African personalities and also promote investment to provide access to the less privileged.

Ikaze Ventures is a tour and marketing company established in Burundi in 2021 with it's aims to promote tourism, culture and history in Burundi[10].
Dative Uwimana is passionate about tourism, discovering new cultures and education, with a focus on women's rights.she is also much concerned and interested in youth empowerment and leadership.

Dative Uwimana is a Country Representative of African Rebirth in Burundi[11].She is a resulted oriented personnel, committed, team player backed up with very strong communication and excellent organizational skills, whatever she does is graced with excellence.
