VIAcode Consulting LLC (formerly AVIcode Consulting) is a privately held multinational software development and consulting firm headquartered in West Hartford, Connecticut, USA, with offices worldwide including Redmond, Washington, USA; Saint Petersburg, Russia; Minsk, Belarus; and Rostov-on-Don, Russia. As of the summer of 2015, VIAcode has 100+ employees. [1]
VIAcode is best known for its role as the sole outsourced developer of AVIcode, Inc.’s application performance monitoring toolset, Intercept Studio. AVIcode, Inc. was acquired by Microsoft Corporation in October 2010.

VIAcode’s current Amazon Web Services solutions include the AWS Dashboard Management Pack and VIAcode’s Cloud Commander. [3]
The AWS Dashboard Management Pack extends Amazon Web Services Management Pack with visual dashboards which provide information about the cloud infrastructure and extended tasks for AWS cloud management. [3]
The VIAcode Cloud Commander lets users easily review, monitor and manage AWS cloud as well as MS Azure infrastructure. Cloud Commander can also be used to monitor and manage all AWS instances, including EC2 instances and EBS storages. [3]
At Microsoft's TechEd North America 2014 conference, VIAcode announced new offerings for cloud implementation and cloud strategy consulting services. [4]
VIAcode’s SQL Server Management Pack provides the capabilities for Operations Manager to discover Microsoft SQL Server. It monitors SQL Server components such as database engine instances, databases, and SQL Server agents. [5]
VIAcode also developed MP Tuner, which is a productivity tool that makes SCOM Operations Manager a much better monitoring solution. [6] [7]
VIAcode is also developer and owner of MP Wiki which is the leading management pack resource and documentation source for SCOM Management Packs. [6]

VIAcode was founded in 2001 by Russian immigrants Alexander Zakonov and Victor Mushkatin and their business partner, Steve Pelletier. In 2010, upon the founding of AVIcode, Inc., Mike Curreri became the fourth owner of the company, while also becoming CEO for AVIcode, Inc. Patents related to Intercept Studio became the property of AVIcode, Inc. as part of that formation process. [5]

His industry leadership and community involvement is reflected in his volunteer participation as Co-Chairman of the Governor's Workforce Investment Board for IT; the Board of Directors of the Greater Baltimore Technology Council; Board of Directors of the Maryland Business Council; Co-Chairman of the Advisory Board, U.S. Naval Academy (Class of 1973); Chairman of the Naval Academy Executive Roundtable; and Member of the Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree. He is also a US Coast Guard licensed Captain, holding a Masters license for 100 Gross Ton vessels, and pilots his own ocean-going yacht throughout North America and the Caribbean. Mr. Curreri is a cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School and a magna cum laude graduate of George Washington University. He received his B.S. in applied computer applications from the US Naval Academy.[9]
