VIDIZMO is a software company that provides online video platforms. They operate in a business-to-business (B2B) market and offer live and on-demand video hosting solutions to corporate users for training, learning, corporate communication, digital asset management and digital evidence management.[1] VIDIZMO has been recognized as a key player in digital evidence management.[2]

VIDIZMO was founded in 2009 in Tysons, Virginia by Nadeem Khan.[3] It started out as a Learning Content Management System (LCMS) that offered lecture recording and virtual learning solutions[4][5] but has since expanded their target market to include enterprises for corporate communication, also referred to as ‘corporate YouTube'.[6]
Soon after inception, VIDIZMO announced a partnership with Microsoft and is currently a certified Microsoft Gold, co-sell ready partner and is one of the first companies to adopt the Microsoft Azure cloud technology when it launched.[4]
In 2015, VIDIZMO was recognized in Gartner Magic Quadrant as a niche player for Enterprise Video Content Management (EVCM), and then as a challenger in 2016.[7] In 2017, Streaming Media had listed VIDIZMO among 100 companies that mattered most to online video[8] and in 2018, they had once again been recognized in the Gartner Magic Quadrant.[9]
In 2020, FeaturedCustomers recognized VIDIZMO as a Rising Star in the Spring 2020 Enterprise Video Platforms Software Customer Success Report.[10]
Technology[edit]
WebRTC protocol and Wowza streaming technology are used for low-latency live streams, such as webcasts.[11] The video player is based on the HTML5 industry standard.
VIDIZMO makes use of adaptive bitrate transcoding to deliver quality video content regardless of network connection, software or device.[11] They also use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide insights into the video such as facial recognition, object recognition, speech recognition, transcription, translation, and more. Based on these insights, in-video searches can be performed as well.[12]
Being a Microsoft partner, VIDIZMO uses Microsoft’s technology stack including the media and cognitive services, and they allow integration with all Microsoft enterprise products.[13] The platform also uses Single Sign-On (SSO) technology.[14]
VIDIZMO is deployed on CJIS compliant Government Cloud as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), private Azure or AWS cloud, or on-premises data centers.[15]
