Vanitha Datla is an Indian Business Woman.[1] She is currently the Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of Elico Ltd and the Managing Director of Elico Healthcare Services Ltd.[2]

Currently she is enrolled in the EFPM program at the Indian School of Business, as a doctoral student, researching the area of women's involvement in family businesses.
She did her Bachelor of Arts (BA) from St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad, and then studied at the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India, ICFAI.[4] for the dual program of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA). She was awarded a Silver Medal for standing second in her graduating PGDBA class at ICFAI Business School. She also secured a place on the Dean’s Honor Roll for achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA for three consecutive semesters, while pursuing her undergraduate study at Wichita State University in USA.

Career[edit]
Datla started her career as an Executive Director at Raasi Finance and Investments Ltd in 1994, where she later became the Managing Director and continued till December1999. She then joined Anjani Portland Cement Ltd as Director Finance and continued till May 2008.
Vanitha joined Elico by August 2009, where she currently drives the operations, marketing and strategy teams as the Vice Chairperson and Managing Director.
An active member of Confederation of Indian Industry, She was elected as the first Chairperson of CII.[4] for the State of Telangana in the year 2014 and continued for a second term till March 2016. Since then she has held many positions at CII and IWN (Indian Women Network) at the State, Regional and National Levels.
She has served on various Corporate, Academic and Not for Profit Boards over the years.[5]
