Veneration Music Ltd is a UK-based music production and film score coordination company based in Sevenoaks. Since 2008, it has also been involved in the development and production of feature films including the raising of finance and development monies. The company was formed in 2005 and since 2007, it has been managed by James Edward Barker (born 14 February 1980), a British music composer and music producer for film and television.

Background[edit]

The company has been involved with the coordinating of scores for feature films, shorts, commercials and television productions across the globe, as well the production of an array of international feature films. In music, Veneration Music Ltd is involved throughout all the processes of delivering the final score, including the composition, orchestration, performance & recording, mixing (5.1, 7.1, stereo) & mastering of the music. The company also supports the talents of UK music engineer: James Loughrey, who has been involved with mixing and producing artists as varied as: Robert Plant, Björk, Scott Walker, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Hope of the States and My Vitriol. Veneration Music Ltd also supports UK film composers and arrangers: Tim Despic and Natalie Ann Holt. Since 2005 Veneration Music Ltd has been involved with coordinating the scores for over 30 feature films and short films in its 5-year history and is currently one of the UK's most prolific music production houses. Veneration Music Ltd is also involved with the raising and financing and producing of feature and short films, which has included the 2006 extreme sports film, The Chaos Theory, the short film Consuming Love (2008) and Noel Clarke's 4.3.2.1. Veneration Music Ltd has recently been packaging a slate of feature films including two films with Altitude Entertainment in the US (The Boss Always Sits in the Back and Untitled Space Ninjas Comedy), one film with the Bureau (UK) (The Vanishment), and two independent UK horrors (The Wishing Tree and St. Mary's). It is also working with John Cameron on a US comedy, The Mallusionist and a slate of films with UK directors: Scott Mann & Adrian Vitoria.
