Vikas Vashisht is an Indian Punjabi music and film director in the Punjabi cinema and in Bollywood entertainment industry. He primarily works in Punjabi cinema, also known as Pollywood.
A boy from Amritsar, Vikas has more than 9 years of experience as a director (associate) in Indian cinema. He has been working in Punjabi cinema since 2012. He is a film director (associate) known for his work on Sajjan Singh Rangroot starring Diljit Dosanjh, [1], Ardass Karaan [2] [3] starring (Gippy Grewal), Qismat starring Ammy Virk, and Harjeeta starring Ammy Virk. and many more.
Early life
Vikas Vashisht was born on December 25, 1991, in Amritsar, Punjab, India. At a very young age, he moved to his grandparents' house in Mukerian, Punjab, where he attended DAV Public School. He completed his graduation with an MCA – Masters of Computer Applications in 2016 from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar. Later, he shifted to Delhi to pursue a Masters in 3D Multi Media Animation from MAAC Delhi.
Career
After completing his studies, he worked as a 3D animator for various companies, but his creative drive led him to Mumbai, where his dreams awaited him. His career transitioned towards photography and music videos. Vashisht believes that Sajjan Singh Rangroot [4] [5] proved to be a game changer for his career. He has worked with Jashan Nanarh on each of his music videos from 2014 to 2017.
