Vivek "Vicky" Kumar is an Indian film Producer, Director, and Writer in the Indian Film industries.[1]

Early life[edit]

Vicky finished his schooling from the Cathedral & John Connon School, and graduated from The Sydenham College, Mumbai before doing a diploma in ‘Film Production’ from Xavier’s Institute of Communication. (Citation) Alongside his education, he trained hands-on in all aspects of filmmaking with the ace Director Bharathi Rajaa.[2]

Vicky Films P. Ltd. (est.1982 www.vickyfilms.com) is actively involved in production & distribution of feature films. The company has handled film projects both small and big budgets. (Citation) Vicky Films has produced six films with some of the biggest names of the Indian & International film industry that including Sunny Deol, John Abraham, Suneil Shetty, Sohail Khan, Sushmita Sen, Bobby Deol, Vinod Khanna, & the music Maestro and double Oscar winner A. R. Rahman and Sukhvinder Singh. Vicky Films has worked with international artists like Salman Ahmed (of ‘Junoon’ Band who gave the famous song ‘Sayonee’).[3]

Chooriyan[edit]

Soon to release ‘Chooriyan’ can easily be termed as a love story beyond romance. It’s the story of a woman who is lucky to find her love but not lucky enough to enjoy it. So she is left with only memories that become her reality. The film targets the women & family audiences who have made many films in this genre memorable & big block busters in the past. The film is a bi-lingual and is shot in Punjabi & Hindi language.[5]

Rhythm[edit]

‘Rhythm’ is a musical love story in an international university where a girl & her group of Indian students from different parts of the world are preparing for an inter collegiate song and dance festival. Being the first Indian film to be shot entirely in Poland it has some beautiful locations. The fresh star cast of 'Rhythm' is being backed by some of the best technicians & musicians from India & abroad and is introducing. Salman Ahmad of the ‘Junoon’ band in a unique cameo role. The film is being introduced in Bollywood. The film is being readied for a 2015 release.[6]

Besides shooting in the countries like Switzerland & Poland, we have shot in Mumbai, Rohtang (Himachal), the Jaisalmer (Rajasthan), Madhumalai Ooty, Patiala (Punjab), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) & Pune.
