Volt Athletics
Volt Athletics, Inc. is a technology company based in Seattle, Washington, that provides strength and conditioning software using artificial intelligence. The company was founded in 2011 by Dan Giuliani and Trevor Watkins and offers digital training programs for individuals, athletic teams, and groups.[1]
In 2013, Volt released its first training application designed to deliver structured workout plans.[2] In 2024, the company acquired ZAMA Health, a platform focused on athlete mental wellness.[3][4]
The company’s platform includes an AI system called Cortex®, which creates adaptive training programs informed by user data and exercise science principles.[5][not in citation given] In 2021, Volt was ranked 30th in Seattle Business Magazine's 100 best small companies to work for and its adoption of a four-day workweek has been noted in local media.[6][7]
