The welove.audio Engine (also Core Rendering Engine (CRE)) is an adaptive music technology[1] developed by welove.audio. Welove.audio is a start-up founded 2018 in Austria.

Features[edit]

The welove.audio Suite contains several different tools. The SDK for Developers with a run-time API to integrate adaptive music into video games and applications. The Harvester, an adaptive music authoring tool for composers and producers. The Desktop Editor for scripting (LUA) and testing harvested adaptive music. The online catalog with precomposed adaptive music, utilizing one or more techniques of music adaptiveness . A unique feature of the welove.audio Engine is that it also runs in webbrowsers.

Duration Retargeting:[edit]

A unit of music, capable of playing for any length of time, capable of being gracefully entered, gracefully left.

Seamless transitions between two units of music, each of which is capable of playing for any length of time.

The Basic License allows the commercial distribution of games using music purchased from the catalog for budgets no more than €500K EUR.

The Advanced License allows the commercial distribution of games using pre-composed music

from the catalog and original music for budgets more than €500K EUR.
