In 2017, WorkJam closed a $12 million growth investment round with backing from Lerer Hippeau, Blumberg Capital, Founder Collective, and Novel TMT Ventures.[5]

Then, in November 2022 WorkJam completed its Series D funding round in which it secured another $50 million. By this point the company was valued at $500 million.[9]
In July 2024, the company announced a $20 million investment from Export Development Canada (EDC) to further expand its international operations.[10]
