Joel Ogebe (born 16 March) is a Nigerian pastor and preacher. He is the founder of the House of Salem International Ministries, a Pentecostal Christian denomination with its headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria.[1][2] In May 2023, he founded "Kingdom Coin", a cryptocurrency built on blockchain technology.[3][4]
Biography
Joel Ogebe was born into a family of six as the firstborn of Mr Matthew and Mrs Mary Ogebe.[5] He originally hails from Benue State, Nigeria. For his tertiary education, he attended the College of Education, Oju Local Government Area, Benue State, Nigeria.[6]
Joel's ministry first started as a small group of Christians with most of their activities taking place online. It was called "The Love Family International". By 2021, the ministry began to hold more physical meetings and eventually grew into a church. It was later renamed "The House of Salem International".[7]
In April 2023, he announced the launch of Kingdom Coin, also known as TKC, a cryptocurrency built on blockchain technology. [8][9][10]
