Yeung Chan

Yeung Chan is a woodworker currently residing in California in the United States. He is originally from China and moved to the United States at a young age.[1] He worked for Metropolitan Furniture Corp. as a product engineer in their R&D department.[2] He attended the College of the Redwoods in 1997 and practiced under James Krenov. He has taught courses at Carleton College in Minnesota and the College of the Redwoods. Chan is the author of the joinery book Classic Joints with Power Tools.[3][4]

Early Work[edit]

Chan popped up in a woodworking magazine in 1992 edition of American Woodworker in their Tech Tips section. Chan had created a jig to bore holes in posts using only his handheld router. The jig is still available today.[5][6]
