Zander Shine (born May 24, 1993), known professionally as ZANDR, is an American musician, electronic dance music producer, DJ, singer, and songwriter based in Los Angeles.[1]
Biography
Shine grew up in Paradise Valley, Arizona and graduated from Chaparral High School (Arizona) in Maricopa County, Arizona. He won three consecutive state championship games for Chaparral and went on to play for University of Alabama on the offensive line[2] (tight end #67).[3] In the 2012–2013 season, Shine played in the BCS National Championship Game in Miami Gardens, Florida.[4]
Following his football career, Shine amassed a following on Instagram of 800k+ followers[5] by traveling the world, posting beautifully photographed adventures with a consistent theme of living life to its fullest.[6] In 2017, he moved to Los Angeles in order to further his career as a lifestyle influencer and model.[7] It was there that he made friends with major EDM artists including Slushii, Marshmello, and Ookay and began his music career under the alias "ZANDR".[8]
