Zajmina Vasjari (born 17 June 1987) is an Albanian singer and model. In 2002, at the age of 15, she was appointed Miss Shqiperia.[1][2]

Zajmina Vasjari, born June 17, 1987 in Durrës, Albania. Her parents emigrated to Durres from Vasjar, Tepelenë.[3][4]

Career[edit]

After being named Miss Albania in 2002, Vasjari began her musical career when she released songs such as "Ku je", "Pa ty" and "Kthehu". In 2005 she participated in the competition Microphone in Artë (the golden microphone) with the song "Sonte me prit". The following year, she released the single "Bonito" with singer Kastro Zizo. During the same year, she performed in Top Fest with the song "Mos thuaj jo". In 2007, she released the next single with Kastro Zizo which was titled "Chupa Chupa".[5] In 2010 she collaborated with Blero and together they released a music video for the song "Veç ti". During the same year, she finished second in the Çelësi muzikor competition with the song "Me sy të penduar". In the summer of 2011, she released the song "Po ta dija", which was produced by the well-known musician Flori Mumajesi. In 2012, the single "Bardhë e zi" was released together with Cekic. In November of the same year, she participated in Kënga Magjike 14 with the song "Do pi" with which she made it to the finals on November 10. In the summer of 2013, she released the single "I kom" with a music video. In 2014, she released the song "Shumë" composed by Flori Mumajesi.[6][7]

In August 2015, together with singer Elgit Doda, she released the music video for the song "Blackout".[8]

Personal life[edit]

Vasjari is married to Klodian Asllani and together they have one child.[9][10][11]
