ZappRx is a Boston, MA-based digital health company that provides a secure online platform used by patients, physicians, and pharmacists for the management of specialty medications.[1] Founded in 2012 by CEO Zoe Barry, ZappRx works with pharmaceutical companies to help fast-track the prescription process for patients affected by severe or life-threatening diseases who need access to specialty drugs.[2][3][4][5] [6]

Investors[edit]

ZappRx has raised $42M in funding. In 2017, Qiming US Healthcare Fund, a venture capital firm based in Seattle that is part of a broader family of Qiming Venture Partners led the company's Series B round of funding. This round included participation from SR One, who led ZappRx's Series A round in 2014, and GV (formerly Google Ventures).[7][8]
