Zaxanagian

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Zaxanagian is an English streetwear brand established in London in December 2019.[1]

The brand caters to the youth fashion and menswear scene in the UK, and is recently gaining popularity in the USA. The brand produces clothing and accessories and also manufactures higher-end products such as jewellery.

The logo text with the capitalised "Zaxanagian" in Lato bold is recognised within the streetwear community.

History[edit]

The brand was founded by Zachary Johnson-Flint. Although of British nationality, he lived in Monaco until he was 18. He started to produce clothes for the brand when he moved to university in the UK. In January 2020.

The brand name "Zaxanagian" is based on the 'gamer-tag' the founder used when playing video games at a young age. It is known to be difficult to pronounce and spell.

Sustainability[edit]

The brand introduced its sustainability values right at the beginning of its inception, which allowed it to base production, and brand motives around building a sustainable future for the company and streetwear fashion scene as a whole[2]. Zaxanagian states on its website:

"New clothing drops are released on the first Friday of every month and are only available for 30 days."[3]

It has stated in the past that clothing releases are only available for the duration of the month. If there is any left-over stock, appropriate clothing is de-branded and donated to homeless shelters around London and the CDC Emergency Response Fund during the Covid-19 pandemic.[4]
