Parantap Pushkarna (born 20 February 2000), professionally known as Zennic is a singer/songwriter, record producer, record executive, multi-instrumentalist,[1] vocal producer, creative director and entrepreneur.[2] Noted for his versatility in vocal style, his deep lyrical abilities[3] and a unique style of production. Zennic is also a rapper and entrepreneur.
Early life
Zennic was born in Ahmedabad, a city in Gujarat.[4] His parents and grandparents come from a line of high academic standards with all of them being authors and publishers.
Zennic started practicing music at the age of four and started writing songs at the age of 15. Zennic experimented with many genres of music as he matured, including playing guitar, keyboard, flute, harmonium, cajon and composing music for an indie band, which he performed in from 2017 to 2018. Following its breakup, Zennic started performing solo. He started studying film making around 2018.
Career
Zennic's first instrumental album Anaahat was released in 2018.
Zennic's first instrumental EP Avenoir was released in 2020. It features instrumental songs, and revolves around the Lo-Fi genre. It took him about a year and a half to record and release his debut album as a singer.
Zennic released the Neverland [5][6] in December 2020, conceived through his own experiences about travelling to an imaginary city called Neverland.[7] The album was entirely produced and written[8] by Zennic with CapsCtrl being a co-producer on a couple of tracks[9]. [10] Zennic's 'Lost in Myself'[11] was featured on Rolling Stone India and also got played on Radio City Freedom [12][13]
