Zentail (Zentail, Inc.) is an ecommerce technology company based in Columbia, Maryland, USA that offers software and revenue optimization services to online retailers and brands. Zentail's cloud-based software integrates with Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Jet.com, eBay.com, Google Shopping, BigCommerce, Shopify, Magento, SkuVault, Fishbowl Inventory, FedEx Supply Chain, Rakuten Super Logistics, Shipwire, Fulfillment Works and ShipBob.
Zentail is the first privately held integration partner of Jet.com[1] and Walmart Marketplace.

Zentail, Inc. was founded by Daniel Sperling-Horowitz and Daniel Sugarman in 2011. The company received investment by Y Combinator and participated in their Summer 2012 batch.[2] The company initially provided a trading and inspection platform for international purchasers of high-value goods. In 2013, the company began connecting these products to the Amazon and eBay marketplaces by developing a proprietary software system for product information management, product listing, inventory management and dynamic repricing to outcompete other sellers. The company leverages its SMART Type[3] product categorization and attribute mapping system, an advanced and centralized system for categorizing products and mapping attributes across major online shopping sites.
In 2014 the company was introduced to Marc Lore, founder and CEO of Jet.com (acquired by Walmart eCommerce for $3.3 billion in August 2016[4]). Zentail was Jet.com's largest beta partner and a top-5 seller through the 6 month beta that ran from January 2015 through July 2015. In May 2015, the company's founders were invited to Jet.com's headquarters to demonstrate how they were able to provide a consistently high level of product data quality and fulfillment performance and considerably outperform other sellers that were connecting to Jet.com through ChannelAdvisor and CommerceHub.
In June 2015, the company decided to phase-out its own retail operations and open up its state-of-the-art software for select retailers and brands. The first group of sellers began using Zentail's software, then called Zentail Commerce, in July 2015. By August 2016, Zentail offered an official integration into Walmart Marketplace, Amazon, eBay and Jet.com.
In March 2016, Zentail began offering a programmatic integration with Google Shopping[5] designed to simplify advertising physical products on Google and ultimately help sellers grow their own online retail sites.[6] In September 2016, the company began developing an ecosystem of 3rd party service providers with a focus on 3rd party fulfillment companies including FedEx Fulfillment and Rakuten Super Logistics.
In December 2017, the company released its open API to allow sellers, service providers and developers to build applications and integrations on top of the Zentail platform.
