Divine Uzama[4] (born 4 December 2002), known professionally as Zerry DL, is a Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter. He is currently signed to Plutomania Records,[5] and is famed for his 2023 hit single, "Puff & Pass" from his EP "Danger Zee".[6] The single earned him spot on number thirty-nine on the Turntable "Official Nigeria Too 100" chart.[7] He performed a mash up of his hit single "Puff & Pass" on stage.[8]
Early life[edit]
Zerrydl was born in Benin City, Nigeria, in the year 2002. He grew up in Benin City alongside his older brother Shallipopi, where his passion for music began to blossom.[9][10]
Career[edit]
He started making music at a young age. He began releasing freestyles online when he was just 17 years old. His first song, "Ifeoma", was release in 2022. Zerrydl got mainstream recognition in 2023 with a remix of his song "Puff & Pass" which made him enter Turntable Charts and earned him two million streams on Spotify.[11][12]
