Zoom2U Technologies is privately-owned Australian public company operating in the delivery services market.[1] Zoom2U Technologies is the holding company of businesses Zoom2U and Locate2u.

History[edit]

Zoom2U was founded in 2014 by founder and CEO Steve Orenstein.[2] At launch in 2014, Zoom2U’s customer base was predominantly made up of consumers and SMEs. Over time, the mix of customers has changed, with enterprise customers contributing an increasing share.[3]

Zoom2U Technologies, the holding company of Zoom2U, was incorporated in 2019. The same year, the group commenced the development of a SaaS technology product, Locate2u, which launched in 2020.[4]

Founder Steve Orenstein is a serial entrepreneur. His first business, cloud-based field worker software Connect2Field, was acquired by Ireland-based global software-as-a-service vendor Fleetmatics in 2013.[5]

Zoom2U[edit]

Zoom2u is an Australia-wide marketplace that connects businesses and individuals with local delivery drivers.[6][7] Launched in 2014, Zoom2u connects customers with drivers to complete deliveries of anything from envelopes, small parcels, flowers, and cakes to furniture, building materials, and palettes.

As of July 2021, the company had nearly 70,000 customers and had onboarded 8,600 drivers. In 2020, the average daily deliveries completed through the Zoom2u praise platform was 1,800 per day. Since launch, Zoom2u has processed more than 2 million deliveries.[8] Zoom2U has received exceptionally high praise from the independent review site Product Review.

Locate2u[edit]

Locate2u is a global solution for businesses that already have their own local drivers. Launched in September 2020, Locate2u helps businesses around the world power their logistics through live tracking, estimated time of arrival for customers, and optimised delivery routes.[9]

Locate2u works with partners in the food, product, retail, or grocery deliveries industries, from SMEs to enterprises, who already have their own fleet of delivery vehicles.

IPO[edit]

Zoom2u Technologies Ltd is looking to undertake an IPO on ASX to raise $8 million via the issue of 40 million shares at an offer price of $0.20. The company will have an enterprise value of $25.4 million on completion of the offer.[10] In 2021, Zoom2u sought $2.5 million via the sale of securities from investors ahead of its IPO.[11]
