On 11 July 2022, a Russian wave of shelling killed six people and injured 31 in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.[1]

The mayor Ihor Terekhov said that the areas shelled were residential area with "no military significance", including several civilian houses, stores, a tire repair store, and a school.[2][3] Reuters confirmed that at least one residential structure had been hit.[4][5] Authorities said that six civilians had died, including a 17-year old teenager and his father.[1]
Oleh Synyehubov said that the Russians had used "artillery, multiple rocket launchers and tank attacks" on Kharkiv.[4]
