750 US troops prepare to be deployed to Iraq to defend US Embassy in Baghdad; This is in response to an incident in which crowds of pro-Iranian militiamen breached the embassy compound, and then withdrew after US MArines fired tear gas. The unrest occurred in response to US air strikes on pro-Iranian militias in Iraq.[1] [2] [3]
