2021 Uppsala suicide incident was a suicide at Uppsala Konsert & Kongress in Uppsala. Two people were killed and one person was hospitalized.[2]
Incident[edit]
Shortly before the start of an ABBA tribute band concert at Uppsala Konsert & Kongress, at around 18:50 on the evening of 2 November 2021, an 81-year-old man jumped from the sixth floor and landed on the bottom floor, killing himself and a 60-year-old man, injuring the latter's wife.[3]
Aftermath[edit]
Uppsala Konsert & Kongress announced that several upcoming concert would be cancelled and postponed due to the shutdown of the facility.[4]
