Aakash Talwar (born 1993) is an fashion and commercial photographer. He is known for his still life, portraiture, beauty, fashion, advertising, and lifestyle photography.

Recognition[edit]

Photographer Aakash Talwar Exhibited his work for 3 Days and got Award for his Images at Photography Exhibition – ALBUS ATRUM [2] of BVSP at Nehru Center, Mumbai. During his Exhibition work Aakash had displayed his two photo series – One is based on MINIMALIST THEME where he used Architect + Model keeping Elements of Designs in mind & Another one is DIGITAL PAINTING PORTRAITS which is based on African different styles of wearing turban in which after stylizing & clicking Portraits of models Aakash did Digital Matt Painting on it to give it a feel of Paintings. The exhibition [3] is inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Arzan Khambatta (sculptor and architect), Mr.Avinash Gowariker ( Fashion Photographer), Uddhav Thackeray (Chief, Shiv Sena), Politician Mr. Sharad Pawar (President of the NCP, India), Supriya Sule (NCP – Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha) and many other Bollywood celebs.

Career[edit]

He began his journey through photography at the age of 18. He then went on to study for BJMC from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies, Post Graduation in Digital Communication Design from Arena Animation & 2 Year of Advance Advertisement and Commercial Photography at the School of Photography (BVSP) certified from Edexcel Pearson (London), where he received early recognition for his earnest and compelling depiction of lives that resist the strictures of societal norms.

His personal art practice has brought frequent attention to the discourse of contemporary art in modern culture. Aakash's work has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions at leading galleries and his prints are held in public and private collections - including at the Nehru Art Gallery - Mumbai[4], National Gallery of Modern Art [5]

Over the years, In addition to producing portraits and editorial fashion, Aakash has also shot many celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Shikhar Dhawan, Mary Kom, Lara Dutta, Wrestler Charlotte, Roman Reigns, Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, R. Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor, Salman Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Ranbir Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arjun Rampal, Akshay Kumar, Tisca Chopra, Kanika Kapoor, Meet Brothers, Deepika Padukone, Sunny Leone, Randeep Hooda, Anushka Sharma, etc for Times of India[6] - Nav Bharat Times, Noida Times, Ghaziabad Times, Dainik Jagran, BBC Hindi [7] and ME Fashion Agency.
