Abantika Deka (born January 1, 1991) is a badminton player from Assam. Abantika was among India’s best juniors and a promising singles and doubles player. She was in the top 2 in India and was also among the probables for the 2010 Commonwealth Games. She worked hard at the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy in Bengaluru under coaches like Vimal Kumar and Prakash Padukone himself. Her career as badminton player ended due to a ligament injury consequent surgery. Now she is the brand ambassador for Microlabs India Ltd.[2] She is currently the official Indian team coach for juniors and the founder of Deka Events.
