Adeeb Ahamed[3][4][5] is a UAE based billionaire businessman of Indian origin from the state of Kerala.[6][7][8] He is the Managing Director of LuLu Financial Group (LuLu FG), Tablez, and Twenty14 Holdings.[1][9][10] [11]Adeeb is a member of the World Economic Forum's South Asian Regional Strategy Group(RSG).[12][13] [14] [15] [16] Adeeb Ahmed won the gold card UAE Visa from the Federal authority of identity and citizenship in Abu Dhabi in 2019.

Early life and Education[edit]

Adeeb Ahamed was born in Kochi, Kerala.[17][2][18] He is married to UAE-based Indian businesswoman Shafeena Yusuff Ali, who is the second daughter of UAE-based Indian billionaire businessman MA Yusuff Ali.[19][18][16][9][11]

LuLu Group International[edit]

LuLu Group International is an Indian-owned multinational conglomerate company that operates a chain of hypermarkets and retail companies, headquartered[20] in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It was founded in 2000 by M. A. Yusuff Ali who hails from Nattika, Thrissur district in Kerala, India. LuLu Group International mainly operates the international chain of hypermarkets named "Lulu Hypermarket". LuLu has over 57, 000 employees.[21]LuLu Group International opened its first supermarket in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in 1995, when the retail business scenario in the region started to change with the entry of Continent (now Carrefour). Later, more LuLu Supermarket stores were opened in Abu Dhabi. Then they expanded to the emirate of Dubai. In the late 1990s, the LuLu Center department stores were launched, and the group expanded to other countries in the Middle East. [22] [23] [24]

LuLu International Exchange[edit]

LuLu International Exchange is the flagship company under LuLu FG. It started its operations in 2009, and currently operates 190 exchange centres dealing with remittances and foreign exchange in countries such as India, Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Oman, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait.[25][26][27]
