Aleksije Andrejević

Aleksije Andrejević (Peć, Kosovo, Ottoman Empire, c. 1680 - Kostajnica, Habsburg Monarchy, 21 November 1749) was a Serbian Orthodox Bishop of Kostajnica.
He was born Peć where he was educated and took monastic vows. He was first the Bishop of Užice and Arilje[1], and in 1737 when he met with Patriarch Arsenije IV Jovanović Šakabenta, he came under Austrian rule and was given the administration of the Kostajnica, where he built his residence and a cathedral church. In 1747 Bishop Aleksije founded a seminary in Plaški. [2]
