Alex Coury (born January 7, 1991) is an American actor, director, producer, comedian and author.[1][2][3][4][5] He is the founder of Coury Consulting, a company that focuses on providing training videos and marketing solutions to businesses.[6][5]
Early life and career[edit]
Alex Michael Coury was born on January 7, 1991, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, showed an early interest in the performing arts.[7][3][8][9] At a young age, he participated in a performance of "Grease" at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, where he impressed the audience by imitating the character Danny Zuko and triumphing in a dance-off against both children and adults.[8][10]
In 2008, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career while studying Fine Arts at the New York Film Academy.[6][8]

Coury's acting career began in 2001, when he secured a role in the Disney Channel television program "Bug Juice".[8][5][11]
Throughout high school, Coury refined his acting abilities, actively participating in numerous productions in Tulsa. His talent caught the attention of directors, resulting in several roles in school plays. He portrayed the character Reuven Malter, a young Jewish boy, in Chaim Potok's "The Chosen" at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.[10]
Later on, he gained recognition by serving the role of the Prom King in Avril Lavigne's music video for "Here's to Never Growing Up".[12][10]
He possesses a wide range of talents, including skills in stand-up comedy, impersonations, voiceover, and accents, which allow him to explore various aspects of the creative process beyond performing.[10] He has studied at institutions such as Playhouse West, The Groundlings, and Second City in Hollywood.[6][5]
