Allan Aziz (born August 6, 2004), known professionally as Al Chapo, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter.[1] He gained recognition upon releasing his single, "Talking my S***", which has amassed over 40000 plays on Spotify and peaked at number 895 on the Music Charts. In addition to that he has collaborated with famous artists such as Shiloh Dynasty who was featured on XXXTentacion 's album17 (XXXTentacion album) and has recently released snippets of his new song with Punjabi rapper NAV (rapper) who has been promoted by Kylie Jenner 's own snapchat post with breakout singles such as Myself (Nav song) and Tap (song).With NAV being featured one of the songs Allan Aziz Aka Al Chapo is practically guaranteed global exposure soon.

He has also previously released songs that have garnered attention such as "Runnin", "Don't Cry Over Me", "Go Dummy" and "Fast Life",[2] which have all appeared on his debut mixtape Regret released on October 15, 2019. The mixtape peaked at number 370 on the US Billboard model 500.[citation needed]

Early life[edit]

Allan Aziz was born on August 6, 2004, in the Houston area of Texas. He was raised in the New Territory neighborhood of Sugar Land. He is of Indian and Hispanic ancestry, and his parents are both migrants. From a young age, Allan had aspirations of being in the NBA, but at around 15, he turned his some of his attention towards pursuing a career in music.[1]

Career[edit]

When he was 9 years old, Chapo catered to his interest in music by rapping with his friends on his way to basketball games. They would make diss tracks directed towards each other, one of which was uploaded to SoundCloud years ago, but has since been taken down. At first, he did not have intentions to start a musical career and instead had dreams of being an NBA star. However, in his middle school years and high school years, he lost interest in basketball and considered taking music more seriously. Al Chapo has always been musically gifted. From a young age, he was singing, performing, and playing a variety of instruments. Throughout the course of his musical career, Al Chapo has won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life; performing at a variety of venues, making loads of public appearances, all the while recording new music.Genius.

Artistry[edit]

Al Chapo states that he was influenced by many artists ranging from Eminem and Ed Sheeran in his childhood, to DaBaby, Lil Baby, Meek Mill, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar.[citation needed]
