Ama Louisa John [2] (born 9 May 1998)[3], known professionally as Ama Lou, is an English singer, songwriter and model from North London.
In July 2018, Lou self-released her debut EP, DDD. In November 2019, Lou signed to Interscope Records and released her second EP, Ama, Who? along with the release of her single, "Northside".[4]
Early life and career
Ama Louisa John was born and raised in North London on May 9, 1998. She has a sister, Mahaila John, who is a film cinematographer.[5] At age 11, she began to write her own music and started playing piano at the age of 14. Lou attended East London Arts & Music to pursue her music career.
Personal life
Lou currently resides in Los Angeles.[6]
