The Amirganj Zamindari (Bengali: আমিরগঞ্জ জমিদারী) was a historic estate managed by the Bengali Bhuiyan family of Amirganj in Raipura, Narsingdi District.[1]
History[edit]
The zamindar palace was established by three brothers of this dynasty; Sadruddin Bhuiyan, Haji Mahabbat Ali Bhuiyan and Haji Munshi Sayebullah Bhuiyan. Construction began in 1919 and was completed in 1925. The three zamindars used to do jute and contract business, by which they amassed a lot of wealth.
