Animoca Brands (Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd) is a Hong Kong based game software company and venture capital company founded 2014 by Yat Siu.
It had been listed on the Australian Securities Exchange since 23 January 2015.[3] As of March 9, 2020, Animoca Brands has been delisted from the ASX.[4]

On November 15, 2011, Animoca raised an undisclosed amount of funding in a Series A round led by Intel Capital and IDG-Accel (which tapped its China Growth Fund III).[6]
On August 15, 2018, Animoca raised $1 million investment by Sun Hung Kai and $0.5 million by strategic partner Lympo.[7]
On December 18, 2018, Animoca Brands announced that it has completed a ~A$715k placement to institutional and sophisticated investors.[8]
In May 2019, Animoca raised $2.5 million in funding for a new version of the video game The Sandbox. This version is intended to be a blockchain gaming platform with user-generated content.[9] In Q3/2019, Animoca's The Sandbox raised another $2.01 million in cash and cryptocurrency. Investors included Square Enix, B Cryptos, and True Global Ventures.[10]
In September 2020 Animoca launched his own ERC-20-Token: "REVV" on Uniswap.[11]
In May 2021 Animoca Brands raised US$88,888,888 and another US$50 million in Juli 2021 based on valuation of US$1 billion.[12][13][14] In October 2021 Animoca Brands raised another $65M at $2.2B valuation from Ubisoft, Sequoia Capital and others.[15]
In November 2021 SoftBank leads a $93 million investment in Animoca's The Sandbox.[16]
