Anshelle are a Swiss Adult Contemporary Pop/Rock band from Bern, Switzerland founded in 2001.
History
In 2002 Anshelle released the first album Part of the Game as a producer team.
After major changes Anshelle was reborn as a band and released the sophomore record Rewind Please in 2007 with co-producer Gert Stäuble (Züri West). The album entered the Swiss album charts at #74[1] and the single "Little Mountain" the Swiss single charts at #65.[2] Anshelle was awarded "Swiss Top Band" of the month September 7[3] and won 2 awards at the Toronto Exclusive Magazine Award 07 for "Best International Pop Song" (Rewind Please) und "Best International Pop Band".[4] After an extensive club- and festival tour through Switzerland the band also released their album in the UK through Urban Angel Music and went on a promotion tour through Northern Ireland in February 2008.
In 2009 the band produced the record Betty's Garden with co-producer Steve Lyon and Gert Stäuble (Züri West). The album entered the Swiss album charts at #31[5] and the singles "Crossroads" and "Secret Garden" were released in the same year. The band again went on a big club- and festivaltour through Switzerland playing major festivals at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Hoch-Ybrig Openair and Gampel Open Air. In 2010 the EP Good Days with 2 remixes by Monsieur Morphologue and producer team DICK&klein as well as 2 remixes of the songs "Crossroads" (Beatblaster S. remix) and "Slightly Underdressed" (DICK&klein) plus a special mix of the song "Little Mountain" was released. The band won the Toronto Exclusive Magazine Award in 2010 for "Best International Rock Album".[6]
After a break in 2011 the band produced its fourth album All In again without a label. The songs were mixed at Final Mix, Los Angeles by Rob Chiarelli and mastered at 360 Mastering, London by Dick Beetham. The first single I Can See Your Beauty was released with a videoclip on 28 January 2012.
In 2013 the first unplugged album Unplugged Sessions was released. The band recorded and produced the album themselves.
In May 2014 the single and video clip Already Gone from the fifth album Blink of an Eye was released. Already Gone is an international co-production with Californian Songwriter Nate and Kaelie Highfield and the gold awarded hit producer Sky van Hoff (Mrs. Greenbird, X Factor Germany). The single was awarded finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest 2014.[7]
