Apex Trader Funding
Apex Trader Funding was founded by Darrell Martin in Austin, Texas.[1] Apex Trader Funding is a financial technology company which provides day traders with 7-day evaluation periods using real-time simulated accounts. Traders who pass the company’s evaluations earn a funded trading account and trade futures contracts in financial markets.[2]
History
Darrell Martin first began educating others on day trading in the mid-2000s when he himself learned to trade futures contracts successfully. In 2021, the Apex Trader Funding platform was formed. Apex Trader Funding now operates in 150 countries.[3]
Products and/or services
Apex Trader Funding offers 7-day evaluations. These evaluations review how profitable a trader is using a real-time simulated account. If they are profitable enough to pass the evaluation, the trader earns a funded account.[4]
Apex Trader Funding only offers these evaluations with regards to futures contracts. They also provide peer-to-peer information sharing platforms and future day trading educational services.
Awards
In November of 2023, Apex Trader Funding received an award from the Benzinga Fintech Awards for being the top futures prop trading company for powering market access and opportunity for traders.[5]
