Apology Wars is an American indie/alternative rock band from Bellingham, Washington, United States. Formed in 2017, their current line-up consists of Kyle McAllister (vocals), Ryan Rodgers (guitar), Bryce Hamm (bass), and Asa Morris (drum set).

History[edit]

Apology Wars began after McAllister met Morris at Western Washington University while they both played in Big Band 2.[1] Rodgers and Hamm would soon complete the core group, supplemented by keyboard played by Paul Stovall.[2] They released their EP The Best I Can Do Is Ruin a Party in August 2019.[3] Their album release show took place at the Belltown Yacht Club alongside Guatemalan singer Fabiola Rodas.[4]

In 2021, Apology Wars released two singles "Better" and "Please Don't," which were recorded and produced by Jack Endino in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic.[5]
