Arvind Otta

Dr. Arvind Otta is an Indian mental health activist and psychologist.[1] [2] He is known for his involvement in various social initiatives and mental health activities.[3][4][5][6][7]

Education

Arvind was born in Madhubani, India, in an Odia family. He received his primary education in Madhubani District. He went to Jamia Millia Islamia for a Bachelor's degree. Arvind completed an MA in Psychology and a PhD in Psychology from Ambedkar University.[8]

Biography

Arvind is known for mental health awareness in India. He is the founder and first editor-in-chief of Mental Health Magazine Psychologs.[9][10] He worked on children's mental health, especially on addiction to internet gaming and social media.[11][12][13] Arvind has also created India's largest mental health campaign "Utsaah" according to Zee News.[6][3] He builds a dedicated team of mental health professionals and volunteers to help people with mental health issues.[14]
