Aspiring Minds Assessment Private Limited is an Indian "employability evaluation and certification company", headquartered in Gurgaon with an office in Bangalore and a pan-Indian operational presence.[1]

Description and history

The company was founded by Himanshu Aggarwal and Varun Aggarwal in 2007 to enable equal opportunity for entry-level talent, and to help companies hire the right candidate in a well-scaled and consistent manner.[2] In 2011, Aspiring Minds raised funds led by Omidyar Network, to increase its services and offerings and to expand to new locations.[3][4] Aspiring Minds has been covered by various news portals including The Economic Times,[5] The Hindu,[6] Business Standard,[7] Hindustan Times,[8] The Financial Express[9] and One India.[10]

Products

Aspiring Minds developed the employability test – Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test or AMCAT.[11] Graduates and students can take this test to present a picture of their skills and abilities to the companies. Companies can hire the candidates directly from the database or from Aspiring Minds’ Assessment service.[12]
