Adrian Triplett (known by his stage name Bad Nuze)[4] is an American hip hop artist from Pasadena, California.

Career

Bad Nuze grew up in Pasadena, California, raised by a single mother.[5] He began rapping at an early age and formed a neighborhood group called the Lil Rascals when he was 8 years old.[5] He attributes his music style as influenced by artists such as 2Pac, Nas, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, and Common. His first official release came by way of Front Page Nuze, a mixtape that he released in 2012 under the Benjamin Music Group label.[1] The single Games We Play from the mixtape received regular airplay and was his first charted single. The same year he opened up for acts such as Kurupt.[1] He also began working on a full length album, Topik of Diskushun, which he also released in 2012.[1]

Topik of Diskushun was released in 2012 and was mixed and hosted by Dj Nik Bean.[6] It contained features from artists such as Slim Tha Mobster, Butch Cassidy, Bad Azz, I-20, Yung Nate, and Shon Don.[6] After releasing numerous singles along the way, Bad Nuze followed up in 2014 with Liez and Rumorz,[7] a mixtape containing the single Fight, a remix featuring artists Cyhi the Prynce and Big Pooh.[8][9][10] The remix charted #1 on the Indie Hip-Hop Music Chart.[11]
