Balesh Singh Dhankhar
Balesh Singh Dhankhar (Hindi: बालेश सिंह धनखड़, Urdu: بالیش سنگھ دھنکھڈ) is an Indian-Australian social activist, expert on eastern philosophy and regular speaker in interfaith events. He is involved with number of community organisations like Indian Australian Community foundation as spokesperson, Overseas Friends of BJP as President, Hindu Council of Australia as the National Interfaith coordinator. Dhankhar is the founder of the interfaith dialogue platform Hindu Dialogue in Australia. He is also a poet in Hindi and Urdu languages. Dhankhar presents a unified narrative of eastern philosophy, which is otherwise seen as different religions born out of ancient India like Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism including number of other religions born out of India like Shintoism, Taoism, Shamanism.
