"Banana Joe" is the first episode of the first season of Darwin's Yearbook. It originally aired on Cartoon Network in the United States, on December 14, 2019, after airing in France, on December 7, 2019.[1] In this episode, Darwin Watterson is tasked with making the school's yearbook, so he asks Banana Joe for a selfie to put on the front cover.
Plot[edit]
While on his computer, Darwin Watterson is told, via text, by Principal Brown to design the school's yearbook by tomorrow. Darwin decides to put a picture of class clown Banana Joe on the cover, but can't seem to find one. Darwin decides to ask Banana Joe directly for a picture. Banana Joe sends Darwin a picture of him being squashed by a door. Darwin decides to use the image, as it shows who Banana Joe is on the inside and on the outside.

Though the series is directed by Mic Graves, this episode was directed by Antoine Perez and was written by a team of 33 writers.
